About

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department is recruiting Trail Guides to assist with elementary school field studies at Sandy Creek Nature Center by leading small groups of students along the Nature Center's trails.  Field study programs are designed to introduce nature and the environment to elementary school students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade and take place Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

No experience is necessary, but all new trail guides must attend a training session.  The next training sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, Wednesday, February 27, or Friday, March 1 from 9:00 a.m. - noon.  Individuals only need to attend one session.  No experience is necessary.
